AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, 2019, digital photography on alu-dibond, Post-its with ink drawings
This work was shown at the exhibition „on a scale of many“ in the Ausstellungshalle as part of the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The work was a big photography of four interlaced legs. Upon the alu-dibond surface some ink drawings on post-its were placed. These drawings on post-its are one of my oldest creative practices. The work deals with love and the questions around it and what comes after. To handle one of the biggest feelings known to us and trying to organize it and the urge to pin it down.

The work was shown in an outside spot during the annual exhibition. It was at the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The Installation consists of four fake rocks. The rocks are made of styrofoam. They were disposed in a circle. Every rock has its own function. Leaning on the biggest one, the main rock, there was a big TV-screen. It showed a video of Chris & myself dancing on a field near a highway. The video´s aesthetic partially resembles gaming graphic from the 2000s. The choreography is taken from music videos of withe pop stars of the 2000s, mainly Britney Spears. Another rock is used like a display case. It contains a clay flower. Its a the symbol of Britneys „baby on more time“ area. The Installation is accompanied by sound. It is the same sound, we used in the „Overprotected“ installation. The music box was hidden in another rock. Leaned against a wall, the fourth rock showed the phrase „carport diamonds, ain´t we lucky“ in orange spray paint.
OMNI LOVE BAR - QUEERBAR, 2019 (ongoing), spray paint on plywood, steel
The Omni Love Bar was taking place during the annual exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, 2019. I had the idea of building a queer bar, because I was missing a place, not only to hang out at, but to meet and discuss queer and gender topics on the campus. Over the last years, more and more students have had bad experiences with drunk, intrusive party people, whilst the well-attended festivities connected to the exhibition. So I also had in mind to build a safe space. I build the bar in a hidden, remote spot, close to the woods, with Respect! signs around it. It became a collective action. People helped me building up the bar, during the 3 days we thought out a program including students cutting hair outside, a topless hour, live music and djing, featuring female artists from the academy. The visitors were free to donate for the services. I didn´t want to make a business out of it. It was and still remains to be a feministic project, which is to be continued this summer. Out of the Omni Love Bar developed the idea of the Omni Love Podcast, which is in the process right now, in collaboration with the female clubbing collective Trouble in Paradise. Also I curated the pre-preview of the Akademie Galerie Nürnberg with the concept of the Omni Love Bar. The structure of the Bar included a performance, VJ and DJ by three female artists.

This work was shown at the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The work is a big bronze hanger. The sculpture was placed outside on some gravel ground. It is not in the usual exhibition room, but still keeping in touch with it. A photograph which shows the sculpture as an performed object with my body, was shown in the classroom as reference to the sculpture outside. The work deals with interspaces and the fusion of body and object. The object is a scupture and can also be a wearable object, that has huge influence on the body.
